1. Scope of Service
   This platform provides virtual consultations via Information and Communication Technology (ICT). It is not for medical emergencies. If you have an emergency, please contact your local emergency services immediately.

2. Telemedicine Limitations & Risks

   1. Assessment: Virtual care may not be as effective as in-person physical examinations. The practitioner may recommend an in-person follow-up if a virtual diagnosis is not in your best interest.

   2. Technology: We are not liable for technical failures like dropped calls or internet outages that may interrupt a session.

3. Informed Consent
   By using this service, you consent to receiving healthcare via telemedicine and understand the privacy risks associated with electronic communication.

4. Payment & Cancellations

   1. Consultation fees are due at the time of booking.

   2. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment may incur a penalty fee.

   3. You are responsible for any costs not covered by your medical aid.

5. Prohibited Use
   Users may not record consultations without express written consent. Any attempt to hack, "phish," or disrupt the website's security is strictly prohibited.

6. Indemnity
   To the extent permitted by law, Dr Karla Talbot is not liable for damages arising from the use of the virtual platform, except in cases of gross negligence.
